You may be thinking of Champignon the Wonder Horse. There were many other drunken variations on this, but I recall they weren't very good.

You might also remember us trying deliriously to come up with a similar "Rash Fash Bashed" thing involving Hubble, as in the telescope, until our flatmate came through and complained we were keeping him awake.
