The New Yorker runs a caption competition.

Radosh.net runs a New Yorker anti-caption competition.

Almost exclusively for my own amusement, I sporadically indulge in a New Yorker anti-caption anti-competition caption non-competition. Anodyne New Yorker cartoons are denuded of their captions and matched as best they can be with current news headlines. Then I discover that it’s far too late and I really should have gone to bed some time ago, which explains some of the weirder ones.
