Last night's Brit Awards may have been a musical feast, but the dinner featured some of Suffolk's finest. 150 kilos of the county's turnips, supplied by AW Mortier Farms near Woodbridge, were used by the event's caterers.

Apparently even the producers couldn't give this threadbare "news" item their full support, as it fell off the bulletin after its initial 6.30am outing...
