I'm intrigued by "Sompting resident" but in the absence of any satisfactory definition of the verb "to sompt", I must assume that it implies some form of angry grieving, of the sort triggered by the loss of a treasured white Raleigh lady's bicycle, through theft.

Be sure to call her when someone offers to sell you the white ladies bike that they are riding just outside your flat.
