So thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday. A huge thank you to kasku and Tiff, who made excellent sugar-free and low-carb cakes that I could eat with (a degree of) impunity...



I forget what this demonstration was intended to prove,
but be assured that it proved it conclusively.
(For those who were confused by the Kate Nash/Kate Bush song midway through the evening, here are the people responsible—the track is “Kate Bash”.)


Grindingly inevitable swift karmic backlash after pleasant event: I have no heating or water until, probably, Friday. Which, okay, would normally be all very character-building (and somewhere my old housemaster is laughing), but have you seen the weather system heading in from the North Sea this week?

It looks like you are preparing to perform a magic trick using a volunteer from the audience. With a simple clap of your hands, his head will disappear entirely.
