My mother, who wears hearing aids herself, was incensed at this Sun front-page splash the other week. “So what if he wears a bloody hearing aid?” she said. “Do they think that makes him more evil?” She has a point.

It makes him worse because he's old. Having sex with underage girls and being old and unattractive is much worse than having sex with underage girls but looking like, say, Russell Brand. For example.

Maybe he uses it as some sort of sinister pedosonar to allow him to follow the sounds of the innocent laughter of playing children?
I think the Sun did right to point it out.
