Women! It’s a well-remarked phenomenon that many of you feel uncomfortable with the tag “feminist”. This might explain why, deep down, you find yourself automatically rejecting the label:

Apparently, if "Lady" Thatcher holds off until the weekend before hopping the twig, we get Monday off. Come on, modern medicine! Keep her going a couple more days! But, er, then that's probably enough. Don't knock yourself out.

Oh God. Imagine the funeral. It'll be like George Best but worse.

(And think how earnest and bloody sanctimonious the Dear Leader's going to be. And how much the right-wing press will wank itself into a frenzy. I'm going to need to drink myself through all this - thank Christ the pubs will be open all day.)


EDIT: Apparently she's been released from custody hospital and feels "fine". Best nip down to William Hill and see if I can get my money back.
