Turkey's parliament has voted to invade Iraq. [Source: BBC]

At least they had a vote beforehand. They appear to be ahead of us on points.

The resolution will allow Turkish troops to go haring into Iraqi territory after Kurdish separatists. Apparently there had been calls for “restraint” from the US—a statement weighed down by so many ironies it’s in danger of falling through the floor—and, perhaps more reasonably, from Iraq…
