Racist e-fit

It’s 18 months since the shop down the road was fatally firebombed. At the time the police released this e-fit picture of the suspect:



It was based mainly on descriptions given by police officers since he had, perhaps rashly, decided to firebomb a shop opposite the local police station.

Here’s what the man responsible, who is a paranoid schizophrenic and will be detained indefinitely, actually looks like:



It’s odd, he doesn’t seem to be quite such a racist caricature in real life.

The other thing is, of course, this could turn into that infamous Big Train sketch....(He had cynical eyes and uncertain lips?....did he arse)
Personally, his eyes have a touch of the Rushdie going on.
