Racist e-fit

It’s 18 months since the shop down the road was fatally firebombed. At the time the police released this e-fit picture of the suspect:



It was based mainly on descriptions given by police officers since he had, perhaps rashly, decided to firebomb a shop opposite the local police station.

Here’s what the man responsible, who is a paranoid schizophrenic and will be detained indefinitely, actually looks like:



It’s odd, he doesn’t seem to be quite such a racist caricature in real life.

Doesn't the photofit version of him remind you of the baddies in "The Fifth Element"? And didn't they also blow stuff up?

I'm drawing too many conclusions from this.

Of course, the pics aren't going to match. He was clearly not taking his medication when the photo was taken.
