I hope someone had the presence of mind to shout, “Who ordered the special?”.

There is an added level of weirdness here, given what “zizi” means in French. It just wouldn’t have been the same if he had done it in Pizza Express.

Isn't it kind of slang for penis or something? I read about that story. I suppose if you were on a dinner date it would at least give you something to talk about.

Yes! And I suppose this would make for quite an icebreaker, though I'd prefer to try a few conversational gambits before resorting to it at parties.
