If you find yourself idly surfing freeview at half past silly in the morning and stumble across ringtone-ads-with-occasional-music-video channel The Hits, you may find yourself in the middle of 'Signed by the Hits', an hour of signed contemporary and classic videos. And if you do, you'll find yourself reflecting that signing music videos is quite a skill. Simultaneously translating the lyrics, moving to the rhythm and emoting is a tough combination to pull off while maintaining your dignity. As this man will now demonstrate.

There are some signers on there who really do pull this off, for example the black woman in her twenties? thirties? who also does the BBC's News At One. Very odd seeing her boogying away in the small hours on The Hits, though; feels like you've accidentally spied on her dancing around at home by herself.

But our friend above with the tiny beard disturbs the hell out of me every time he starts shaking what his mama gave him.
