For the three people who haven't yet encountered the story of the cab driver data support cleanser who found himself being interviewed by BBC News 24, here's the clip (wmv). His face when he realises he's not being interviewed for a job but about to go live on national TV is priceless. Also the reporter at the end, trying to salvage something from the previous couple of minutes' incoherent rambling, kicking off with: "Well, as we've just heard, it comes as something of a shock..."

For all that the interviewer thought her victim didn't know a lot about the subject, she still managed to identify the wrong company as having won the court case. And then the people writing about it seemed to have made up a story about where the Wrong Guy came from out of whole cloth. Indeed, he's the only person who comes out of it terribly well. I hope he gets his job.

Is the bbc going to give him a job? I think they should, because if they mess up that badly, it seems they give you a lot of room for sucking as an employee...this guy can be like the new chantell!
