I saw Son Of Kong on telly before Christmas. I thought it was daft but mercifully short, at about an hour long. BBC2 went a bit odd and showed it in a double bill with the original Kong, but showed the sequel first. Probably because viewers would be left feeling disappointed and bemused at the end of Son....
My Worst Sequel Of All Time is Highlander II, which not only manages to be unspeakably rubbish but also ruins the first forever.
