Spotted around town

A man was sat on the Tube on Saturday evening wearing an antiquated black suit with a chalk-white face, blood-red lips and fangs. The carriage was quite full—some people were chatting; others sitting in silence—but no-one around him was at all fazed, or indeed acknowledged his presence. He idly looked around him for a bit, then read his paper. I love London.

I attended lectures in fancy dress this week also. It had originally been organised that everyone would come in costume. Only my friend and myself apparently bothered. I wore a blood spattered prom dress. After complimenting my friend's costume (knife through the head), one girl turned to me and asked if I had come in costume too.

Yes, yes I had.
