Okay, I think, I know what it's like in London; shoddy saloons with no rear-view mirrors, "Cab mate? Cab?" and all that. It's sure to be much the same in New York.
I come out of the airport terminal, and parallel to the taxi lane is a passenger pick-up lane full of sleek black stretch limousines, their drivers all touting for business with the immortal words, "Limo, sir?"
