Interestingly, Brown and Smith have won cautious plaudits for not panicking and immediately trying to railroad through OTT and unnecessary legislation, but I suppose it's early days.
What I love about people like Shayler et al is when they bang on about "root causes" and how we've only got ourselves to blame, and how Blair and Bush have made all our lives more dangerous, BUT then start making out that there are no terrorist attacks at all, and that insane Islamists who spend years being indoctrinated to hate everyone except themselves wouldn't dream of blowing anything up, and that it must all be the Government all along with holograms and cardboard cut-outs.
If the latter part of the argument is true, then we can invade as many foreign countries as we like, as long as we can find a way to stop bombing ourselves.
