Yesterday’s sitting began at midday and by 10pm people were flagging a bit. Lord Bowness demonstrated this nicely when he inadvertently referred to the treaty of Lisbon as “the Trisbon”. We all heartily approved of this coinage; there’s going to be a lot of talk about this treaty of the next few weeks, and calling it “the Trisbon” would probably save an awful lot of trees.
Amaze your friends and colleagues with this bit of trivia.
