Oh, I don't care how obvious it is, I had to mark the poignant fact that when bird flu arrived in the UK (somehow despite the Government having set a target for it to arrive in about six months' time) it did so in the form of a dead parrot.



"Oh yeah, the Surinam Blue. What's wrong with it?"

Presumably before being said dead parrot, it was also "sick as a ~".

I'm afraid S. and I have already both declared "It is an ex-parrot. It has ceased to be." (in much the same way as NTNOCN did in the "Life of Christ" sketch) during a news broadcast about this the other day.

can't you be a little more sensitive to the parrot community? it's been losing members since 03!
