The World Bank is demanding that the (Democratic Republic of) Congo government sell off 60 million hectares of rainforest for industrial logging, in the hope of boosting the economy ruined by years of civil war.

Next week: doctors demand that people with liver damage cure themselves by removing their own intestines.

Oh, come on. If they want to make money they should sell the gorillas. They're FAR more rare than diamonds.

Although they make for pretty bulky engagement rings.
