I had never heard of this

[livejournal.com profile] monkeyssk8, you had better look away now.

Nazi Donald

The only YouTube comment worth noting is from “Ludendorf”, who says, “I am a nazi but thats lol”.

If a Nazi LOLing at a Nazi duck makes me LOL, does that make me a Nazi?

Help me, Obi-Wan.

That picture is officially the funniest thing in the history of the world. I daren't look at the YouTube clip.

It would be a disappointment if it were a cheap mock-up, but I'm happy to report that it's the real thing.

I had actually heard of the cartoon before, mind, even though I'd never seen any of it. The song/music is all done by Spike Jones, a childhood fave.

Should I be worried by the large number of pro-Nazi statements in the comments section?

Lordy.
Just watched the South Park one with Cartman as Hitler, but this is sweeet.

It's my second favourite propaganda piece ever, that cartoon, second behind the Beano Strip 'Musso Da Wop - He's a Big-a-da flop'.

They're fascinating all these cartoons. There's a Bugs one where he implores the audience to buy war bonds, and another Warner Bros one about how rubbish the Japs are called, hilariously, 'Tokio Jokio'

I've definitely seen the Bugs Bunny one with the Japs - it's on a island and he's beating on them like they were Elmer Fudd, right?
