Am I allowed to take issue with the claim that I'm weirder than everyone else on Livejournal?

Nope. Sorry.

That pie chart is surely inaccurate. There's no need for that line running through the middle indicating the 0%.

Pedant. Still, nice to see a completely weird result from someone, and it does explain a bit more about how it works, being mostly based on interests. If I could be bothered I'd mail the guy that did it and ask a bit of the methodology, but I can't.

Under new legislation (which only went through last week so you won't know about it yet) falsifying the results of internet quizzes is an offence. Just think how that will look on your CV.

My talking shoe Olly tells me that you might not be the weirdest LJ'er on here.

But Hermes, my invisible Hamster, disagrees...

Assuming it works the way it implies, then all you need to do to be less weird is get lots of people interested in Tony Garstang from Marlow...

Tony Garstang from Marlow was a contributor to the thread that followed Richard Littlejohn's column towards the end of last year about the women who were killed in Suffolk. The gist of the article was that they were no great loss to society, as they had ended up as prostitutes. (Let’s not dwell on what exactly Richard Littlejohn has contributed to society after surviving childbirth.) Harsh but fair, was the general tenor of those who commented on the Daily Mail website—with a few noble exceptions of the kind of Mail reader who reads the thing because “it’s a handy size” but isn’t actually evil or witless and finds themselves occasionally appalled at its contents.

Tony Garstang from Marlow, one of the “silent majority” types, had a fresh angle on the topic that caught my eye:
Well done for saying exactly what everyone was thinking about the Ipswich murders. Very sad but as has been said before: a serial killer's victims often meet him half-way.
I’ll be honest: he blew my mind. All this time later I still haven't the faintest notion what he thought he meant. I added him as an interest on the grounds that to flummox me so totally he must be some sort of genius. That the meme picked him out as an example of the obscurity of my interests seems slightly unfortunate, given that he exists and my four other named interests don’t.

There's no percentages of uniqueness!
