A tribute to the victims of this tribute to the victims of September 11th

This lavish memorial was recently spotted by my friend L in a clothes shop in Milan.

The horse did it! Look it's running away with a stolen US flag!

Quite possibly the most moving and inspirational thing I've ever seen.

Not that any of it makes much sense, but why the Dali clock?

Is the "artist" saying that the so-called terrorist attack on the WTC was actually caused by a US government agent disguised as a horse ramming Salvador Dali's floppy watch into the building?

This would be greatly improved if, instead of a horse, it featured a unicorn, with a solitary tear running down its cheek, underneath the legend "WHY?"

List of things the artist has clearly heard descriptions of, but has never actually seen:
- The American flag.
- A horse.
- New York in general: the twin towers in particular.

Is that horse being ridden by Cousin It?
