Further proof of the inefficacy of prayer is provided by the potentially tragic fate of Top Gear's Richard Hammond. Ever since I heard I've been shaking my fist at the heavens and hissing, “I said Clarkson! Clarkson!” Honestly, call that a service? I ask you.

I'm GUTTED that it wasn't Clarkson.

Clarkson remains in the world to punish the sinners.

Yanno. And everyone else.

He's like ... living proof that god IS a vindictive bastard.

I always liked Sean Lock's description of Clarkson, simply; 'A big fat head full of opinions'.

It's made doubly good by the fact that Clarkson does in fact have an unusually large head.

Yes, everyone keeps saying that they wish it had been Clarkson, and yes, they all have a point, but it's not really as if the other two are any better, is it? They both clearly wish they were Clarkson for a start.

Exactly. Don't just lop off the leaves, go for the root.

I can't believe I got stick for taking the piss out of Steve Irwin, and yet you are openly making light of the death of a man who's not even dead yet. And who made his living tampering with machinery, rather than all non-mammalian life.
