In all fairness, I read some of the NASA documentation researching the fall of Nasa's Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (http://milenapopova.eu/2011/09/two-million-people-to-be-hit-by-a-chunk-of-satellite-today.html) a few months ago, and basically, they admitted that even at T -2 hours they can be off by 20 minutes which is about halfway round the earth. So yeah, that fits.
