One for the Urban Dictionary

Stumbling across VH1’s “50 Funniest Moments in Music”, I saw Sir Mix-A-Lot (still dining out on “I Like Big Butts”) talking about Caddyshack; specifically, why the gopher was his favourite character in the movie. “That gopher was the pimp, man,” he laughed. “The gopher was the pimp; he was the thing that wouldn’t die.”

Is that really a working definition of “pimp”?

I suspect Highlander would have been a very different film if it were.

I suspect that where the aforementioned knight of the realm has sound enough opinions on female posteriors, his knowledge of the inner workings of the sex industry leaves something to be desired.

If you could have a pimp that could not die, that would be an excellent pimp. Hmm. I'm now thinking about writing a kung-fu film called The Invincible Pimp.

"Pimp" as a word is almost unbearably funny, and gets funniers the more I hear it, which is a lot.
